Meet Your Instructor - Vicky Westra
Vicky Westra is the Founder of Neuroshifts, a 501(c)3 Non-profit Foundation and creator of Green Zone Life, a transformational program whose mission is to help individuals achieve emotional, mental and spiritual well-being. Prior to her current entrepreneurial role, Vicky worked at Tampa Electric Company (TECO) for 22 years in various roles. Her last role prior to leaving TECO was Director of Customer Services and Marketing.
Vicky has a B.S. in Business Marketing from The University of Tampa. She is married to Pier and they have a daughter Gabrielle (Gabbi), now a young adult who was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) when she was four years old. The journey with her own daughter, the instruction and training she has received from leaders in the spiritual and wellness fields, as well as her experience opening and running a café for many years that provided training and employment for individuals with Autism, has inspired Vicky to develop transformational programs and services for her clients.
Neuroshifts’ vision is to ignite a global movement that empowers every individual, regardless of their background or Neurodiverse condition, to unleash their true potential, celebrate their authentic selves, and forge a path towards a fulfilling and purpose-driven life. Together, we will shatter barriers, foster inclusivity, and create a world where every person can thrive, inspiring generations to come.
Vicky is a published author of the book called “Discover the Light Within”, a motivational speaker and life coach.
Meet Your Instructor - Jackie Arevalo
Jackie Arevalo has more than 35 years of experience in sales, marketing, training, and leadership/management in multiple industries and roles – 20 years of which were spent in the pharmaceutical and bio-tech industries. After leaving the healthcare industry, she served as a Sr. VP of a trafficking & communications media agency where she created and implemented the marketing and sales strategies and processes, developed the operational structure and systems, and served all HR functions. In the last 4 years, Jackie has worked as a marketing, communications, and executive leadership consultant, facilitator, trainer and coach.
Throughout her career, Jackie has been passionate about the coaching and development of others, both in her profession, as well as in her personal life in various community programs.
Jackie and Vicky (CEO/Pres of Neuroshifts and the Green Zone creator) have been close friends from the beginning of their respective careers (and before becoming moms). They share a belief in the power of each individual, in the strength of what connects us and what makes us uniquely perfect, and a passion and desire to support others in their individual pursuit to get to - and stay in, the Green Zone.
